Fitness regulations vary by country, and in many places, the industry is self-regulated, meaning a formal certification may not be required to teach barre.

However, having a recognized barre certification can be a significant advantage when applying for a job. Industry recognition is crucial, and completing the Barre Burn Teacher Training places you among a community of teacher known for their exceptional quality and expertise. Barre Burn is an Approved Provider of ISSA and will be awarded 20 CEUs. 

We encourage you to research the specific requirements for teaching Barre in your country to ensure no additional credentials are needed.

Barre Burn isn’t a race—it’s a journey, and your timeline depends on your learning style, experience, and how much time you dedicate to sweating, studying, and soaking it all in!

 You’ll have full access to our online course for 6 months, during which you’ll need to complete all requirements—including exams and your final Barre Burn assessment. This course is loaded with videos, lectures, tutorials, online classes, and reading materials to set you up for success. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to practice, refine your skills, and fully absorb everything before checking off those certification milestones!

 Some may power through in a month, while others pace themselves over the full six months—there’s no “one size fits all.” The goal? Absorb, apply, and step into your role as a confident, Barre Boss!

To receive your Barre Burn Certification you need to complete the following:

- 100% of our online course material

- Successfully pass the quizzes and exams (with an 80% pass rate for each section). 

- Submit your Barre Assessment which includes 3 parts: 1.) A video of you teaching a Barre Burn Class to a minimum of 3 participants. 2.) Your written Roadmap sequence to support your video. 3.) Complete the self-evaluation form.
